Whether your pet is injured or very sick, we know how scary emergencies can be. That’s why emergency cases take top priority at our animal hospital. During our regular office hours, we’ll do everything we can to give your loved one the best care possible. Emergency situations can include:

  • Difficulty breathing/choking/nonstop coughing
  • Inability to urinate or pass stool
  • Seizures/staggering
  • Severe bleeding
  • Eye injury
  • Consumption of poisonous substance
  • Severe lameness/fractured bones
  • Heat stress or heatstroke
  • Severe vomiting/diarrhea—more than 2 episodes in 24 hours
  • Refusal to drink water for more than 24 hours

*Even if you aren’t sure if your pet is experiencing an emergency, please give us a call. Our veterinarian will decide if your pet should be seen immediately, or may offer special instructions.
